What I love about Nic is that he’s not trying to be exactly like Bob. He is his own artist, but he’s keeping the dreams, styles, and work of Bob alive. It truly feels like he’s continuing on a legacy, and doing a great job of it! I can’t wait to see more from Nic in the future!

@@ultimatesoccer8680 Its expensive to startup. Get the basic Bob Ross paint and brush kit, plenty of paint thinner, the brush screen and a beater. I made my beater by running a dowel rod through a 2 gallon bucket. Keeps me from re-decorating the house. Once you get the hang of it you will learn what other tools you will need and you can add to your collection. Cost me about 600.00 to get started. Oh and you will need PLENTY of paper towels

@@maddi_d This technique requires OIL paints. All of the paints here including the liquid white are oil based and very thick dry paints at that.

Nic is actually pretty good. The interesting part is to see how so much different Nic's outcome is vs. Bob's. Nic seems to have perfected contrast and the perception of the effect of lighting on the scene in a very "artsy" way. Bob in my opinion was superior in depth perception and shadows to where it often felt like something you'd see in a dream. Same technique, but just two different perspectives. It's intriguing.

This is why he takes the next step, he brought in light sources, that"s NEVER have been used like suns or moons used as a direct light sources(BR style) , just camp fires, there is NO replacing Bob, can we please just give this guy a chance so people can enjoy leaning ART just like he would have wanted

I used to watch Bob Ross with my dad when I was little. I sent this video to my dad! Bringing back my childhood and I love it!!!!

During the period between 2016-2017 everyday there was an old episode from Bob. From season one, till the very last every night, I watched them. Every night. But now all those seasons are gone from the channel and I miss it. And I will never forget about this because it was my first year in university and Bob helped me cope with it. Every night

Stopped in the Bob Ross Art Workshop and Gallery end of May 2022. Nic is so nice and patience was such a pleasure talking to him I can't say enough how I enjoyed my time there, Nic is such a great artist. Not to mention I was blown away by Bob Ross's artwork TV doesn't do it justice everything is a masterpiece. Thanks again Nic was a vacation highlight.

Thank you Nic, I want to leave the best comment I can leave and I think its this. This shows you make even better seascapes than Bob himself, and he would invite you to be on the show if he was able. I'm a huge fan of Bob, and plan on taking up his painting technique within the next 6 months when I have the money to get the supplies, and I've never wanted to paint a sea scape, even when watching Bob, until I've seen this video.

I remember growing up watching Bobs videos as a kid. Tapered off in my teen years and simply moved on as an adult. I recently began to rewatch his videos on YT. But one disconcerting thing I came across is the mass merchandising of his name over the last few years. From coffee cups to towels. They , in my opinion, are ruining this man’s legacy buy putting his face on every cheap commercial nonsense they can find. This gentleman is doing a fantastic job carrying the torch. Hope it continues.

I still watch Bob Ross on PBS & sometines they have Nick on. I enjoy both. Nick is a wonderfil painter & he explains more when painting as he is a BR instructor. Bob always said your picture doesn't have to be the same as his but make it your own. I find his voice relaxing to me as I did Bob's also. Bob's was a little more soothing but I like them both. Thank you Nick for continuig Bob's work. 😊❤❤❤
