I don't know what happened. This is my first time watching Bob Ross ever. I was in complete awe as stroke by stroke he created such life that tears are rolling down my face. For a home that I've never been to. One that doesn't exist but on that canvas and in my imagination. Thank you Bob Ross. Rest where perpetual light may shine upon you.

I've done 3 paintings and they turned out pretty good but not even close to Bobs, of course but I had no idea I could paint! The best thing about Bob is that he knows what he needs to do for the painting, but he still says things like "Oh! Maybe maybe maybe... we'll do this!" "Oh! I see something here! Let's get crazy!" Like he's coming up with it on the fly, making it even more fun to watch and see what he's gonna do.

I like to think about how the magic of Bob Ross came to be.. I can picture it perfectly: he finds relief from tough times in his life through painting - it becomes his passion, and he shares his methods with the world so they can join in with him and experience the same path of therapy that he walked. When he made these videos, alot of the magic and good vibes of him teaching and helping others was captured when he was showing others how to paint.. and now, even though almost none of us are painting along with him, we still feel the peace and calm emanating from his videos. It was, after all, only people who were painting, and truly traveling alongside him, who were watching these videos, originally.. he never could have foreseen just how much joy and peace his painting could have brought to others simply by watching.
