Merry Christmas, Jake! Great video, as usual. I’ve been doing shared mailers for several months now with some local companies to give myself some free advertising but I could definitely benefit from a video specific to B2B about how to get 20-30k worth of free advertising. I’m not even sure what it looks like. For example, is it 1 card going to say 50,000 businesses where 6 businesses pay about ~4k per month or does it look like 5 cards, each with 6 businesses paying ~1k per month? I’d imagine it would be easier to find businesses who can afford 1k vs 4k but it’s 30 businesses paying 1k vs 6 paying 4k so I’m not sure which would be the best. Then I have to consider what kind of businesses the shared advertisers would have to be able to service the entire state vs splitting up the state into 5 cards with more local companies. Anyway, I’d love more videos about the subject because my new goal for 2025 is to take massive action on free advertising and get some huge growth!

not really, the usps won't refuse your mailings. You would more so be under whatever advertising laws your state may have etc.

I assume this depends on what state you're in (I'm in NJ), but do those of you doing 9X12 cards include sales tax on the ads you sell? Looking like it would be required in NJ from what I'm reading.

depends on state yup. it can actually be hard to figure out the real answer too, originally when I tried to figure it out I called the state department (they'll just pretty quickly say "yes" it's taxable), and multiple CPA's who gave me mixed answers. In general, if there's no tangible item being given, it's not taxable in many states. You're selling the space on the publication rather than tangible items they receive. You'll really ahve to look into your states tax laws.

we were best friends. probably not the best choice to go into business together. at some point in my life it would be nice to catch up, but there's really nothing productive that would come out of it (other than laughs and memories of the good times), so it's not something really on my radar. maybe in a decade or two we'll reconnect and have some laughs. we had a lot of memorable moments.

if you treat it as a printing business (which is a proven model in local markets), yes absolutely. If you don't make $1M in sales the first year but you're following what I say in this video, you'll still end up well on track to do it the 2nd year.

Good Video...but u DID NOT the most important thing is the Math to the Millions…. 83,334 per month= 1M Show the Math… My goal is a Billion and I'm in Real estate and I average 400k per unit so I need ; 2500 X 400,000= 1Bil.( 50cities x 50units)= 2500 I pay-off all my Realestate 48months ( PEOPLE NEED to know THE MATH)
