I've used a regular power pony from rigid and it operates exactly the same as this where the die turns as well. So you're only half right...lol.

Where this tool shines is where you have to make threads in the field , on a ladder. Otherwise those stationary, (find small compact one) threaders a better choice less waste , re usable oil.

In NYC pipe threading is only used on black pipe for gas and sprinkler systems or has that changed?
@BobsPlumbingVideos4 жыл бұрын
Gas pipe, steam boiler headers, and sprinkler systems. Today most sprinkler systems are put together using Victaulic fittings.

A so incomplete product design they can make a nipple so we can just hook up a small hose to feed oil. Milwaukee doesn’t want to pay me for that idea.
@BobsPlumbingVideos3 жыл бұрын
I would have paid extra for that! My one gripe with this tool, it waste's oil.
@hangngoaigiare3 жыл бұрын
@@BobsPlumbingVideos thanks bob. That’s funny I look at all these tool from different brand no oil feeding port. I don’t have a tool with me so I not sure about where and how to put an oil poet in but I’m sure they can work something out. They want seel more dye I guest. Dewalt has a bracket that help start the thread is nice. No more Milwaukee for me chinese stuffs.
