I can't listen to I'm On A Boat either 13 years later because of how much we listened to it. Just brings up that really painful nostalgic feeling of everything being so complicated and fucked now. I just wanna be cruising around with my two best friends blasting music and smoking shitty weed. I don't think I've ever felt ok since then. The world has never made sense. They both killed themselves almost exactly a year apart. Sometimes I feel like they killed me as well. Like, I'm just this empty shell of a man. I grew up in a tiny town where everyone knows each other and we were always together. Best friends from kindergarten to highschool. All having to deal with shitty, indifferent and abusive parents. I often find myself thinking I should have left too.
