I love the kangaroo 🦘 crossing sign in the thumbnail… I would love to see that someday lol but it reminded me of when we first moved here to Florida a couple years ago from Kansas City all the gulf cart crossing AND Alligator 🐊 crossing signs that are here and how it just made me laugh 🤣 Wasn’t used to seeing those type of signs back in Kansas City 🤪 💜🥰💜

Golf cart crossing hahahaa that is very different to where I live too, we would more likely get a cow or a sheep sign. Did you get alligators in Kansas City? They would scare the life out of me!

@@CrochetwithClare Nope no alligators in Kansas City 🤪 really only crossing signs we had were people , bicycles children and train crossings lol just the normal. Believe me the alligators scare me too. Luckily as long as we aren’t close to any body of water like lakes and ponds then they shouldn’t be around . There’s lots of them that will show up in peoples front doors and pools and such but that’s really if they are close to those waters. We just made sure we didn’t have any of those waters really close by when we found our house. 🤪🤣😬 I also won’t go but to maybe up to my leg calf’s in the ocean because of so many sharks coming closer to the shores these days 😬

@@CrochetwithClare It happens around here in Florida more often than you think lol always seeing clips on the news about gators at door or driveway and such. Especially during the mating season. 😬

I just finished a blanket using Bernat Blanket yarn for my grandson and I think I weaved in 36 to 38 ends so I feel you!😅❤. I also got the yarn on sale. Michael’s has good deals a lot of the time. Good coupons too.😊

Good old import taxes! 38 ends, YUCK! I never pay full price for yarn LOL You are so lucky to get coupons, they really don't do that here. Thanks for coming along on my little road trip.

Great hat! Brave woman creating sooooo many ends! Yes, I love the Hobbii cottons.... of all types! Our Aussie yarn prices are totally nuts! I only ever buy at Spotlight when on sale & try to get over 30% off. I stock up when it's 50% off! I'm not a fan of bulky yarns as they make my arms ache, so I usually stick to 4ply & 8ply & sometimes crochet with 10ply yarn. 🥰Blessings from South Australia💕🐨

I am such a stinge I only buy yarn when it is on sale haha Yes I agree, the thicker yarns make my arms and wrists ache too. Regular Bernat blanket yarn is between $7 and $10 here. That velvet plus variety is a little more… $11-12. I’m in Texas, by the way.

All the ends 😮. 18.00 is pretty high Boy that Barnet yarn is high! We pay $11.99 at Michael’s for that yarn, they sometimes have coupons.
