You were in my hood. I travel these roads all the time but found this video interesting. Thanks for the walk. You could have taken the street just to the right of the bridge and viewed some incredible homes along the intracoastal. It would have taken you right into Deerfield Beach.

This beach is not nearly as nice as Lauderdale by the Sea or as interesting in sights to see off beach area. Lauderdale beach was stunning, serene, looked like paradise, heaven on earth and seemed to go on forever and not very crowded like deerfield, boca Raton seemed like any town in FL. .

Actually, when i wrote the above comment, i had not noticed i was watching Boca Raton part 2. After watching part 1 that showed the other areas of Boca Raton, such as the fascinating Misner Park, i agree it had the most unique look with a fabulous mix of old world but contemporary architectural charm, with the vibrantly colorful stone and stucco buildings and iron balcomies, lined with palm trees and impeccably landscaped main and city side streets. But i still preferred Ft Lauderdale and Lauderdale by the Sea beaches where it seemed you were strolling for miles and miles with an uninterrupted view of the most peaceful pristine beaches, a horizon of clear blue sunny skies that met the bluest of oceans, and calming sounds of sparkling white waves hitting the shores.. I've never had much desire to revisit FL since last there as a child and teen in the 60s and 70s until watching that video. Thanks for bringing these great walking tour videos to many of us who reminisce about the time back in mid century when America was at it's greatest,.but who find travelling difficult. You've inspired me to improve my health to be able to travel and see in person these wonderful sights your street view videos show so well.

Mizner Park in Boca Raton is a fun place to walk around... you were maybe 20ish - 30 min walk from Deerfield Beach. Five to 10 mins tops driving...

If u had gone west on Hillsboro away from the beach, in the Cove Plaza is a great Indian restaurant called Taj, and also Thai Sushi Express. Also Tippery Pub, they have great pig roasts.

It is becsuse of sharp pointed rocks!!! Hence the name. Equating, what you are continually calling "rats mouth" takes away from the beautiful view and enjoyment of tge water. People pay big money to live there, once said is enough.....i.e., jagged rocks of the inlet = Boca Raton.
