Eagle was definitely inside the bullseye on 17. He baby stepped off his three steps. What a good dude. I like him more and more every time he is on this channel.

i am a mostly kasta player and my collection reflects that, but i love eagles passion for this game so much that you best believe i have iron samurais, cloudbreakers, and am on the hunt for an imperial eagle. Eagle will always be a big part of why disc golf has expanded so much in the last few years.

Putts inside bullseye do get counted in c1 stats. It is c1x that excludes bullseye putts.
@Thisnameisnottakenjk18 күн бұрын
That is what the x is for, basically means c1 (excluding bullseye).

Love what eagle said about throwing really flippy stuff to get better at forehand. I did that with my Stratus. If you can take a super flippy disc and throw an anhyzer, straight and hyzer shot with it then you have control.

A toned down version: Circle 1 is played as a hazard. Forcing the further putt for a chance at a two, but not forcing the long putt on every drop out of the basket. Less punishing but still strategic if played with people of similar skill.

I’ve done something similar to this over the years in my casual solo rounds. I play it as hazard though. The distance I struggle with in tournament play is the 18-24’ range.

@wakimura30318 күн бұрын
That’s similar to what I’ve done with my friends at Johnny. We call it “Portal”. The idea is that if you land in the concrete circle surrounding the basket, you portal over to the other concrete circle with a stroke penalty. An added bonus is that from the tee, if you land in the concrete circle that doesn’t have the basket, it’s an automatic birdie. It’s fun! I was -15 going into hole 18 before taking a 7…

Just bring a 33' piece of string or twine. Or an actual meter stick. I've had an idea for a reverse island. Within bullseye would be in bounds, up to edge of C1 is OB. But I would have a designated drop zone just outside edge of circle so everyone would putt from the same spot if they landed OB.

Really like the idea but to help the game as a whole is not take a stroke for landing in the circle off the drive so you still go for your drives.

Range finders don't work that close lol
@JaredTG.17 күн бұрын
Why do they not? I've never had or used one so I'm not informed about them. It seems like they should work better at shorter distances? I ever have some sort of fundamental misunderstanding about what they do or this is an oversight by the people making rangefinders

@elitesist18 күн бұрын
Lool, had to check and I think thats his muscley hand, crazy. If you flex your pinky sideways, you'll feel it. Had to look it up, called the abductor digiti quinti. Prob just so visible since hes lean, I lift a good bit, but I can't see mine anywhere near his.

@JaredTG.17 күн бұрын
It's better for better players. No offense to hunt & trev, they are better than me, but a bad disc golfer doing this challenge would basically just be hanging out all day firing c2 putts and seeing if you can keep track of the score once it gets in the hundreds
