Bodda You, Waipahū, Pūpū Cooler

When I think of Waipahu I think of Arakawa's. And there was this boxer from there named Andy, last name Ganigan. We used to watch his fights at the Blaisdell or was it HIC back then? Sad how he wen mak'e a few years ago. And that pupu cooler reminds me of a beer sleeve, but for pupus! I remember my fist time trying the beer sleeve, the one you freeze not the foam one. When I wen reach for another sip later I was surprised was still cold! Was just too used to it "getting warm." Mahalo a mālama.

Andy Bumatai - Toolin' Around One time though a shark was swimming with us there. I was out in the water with my keiki and I saw my wife waving at us from the shore. I am stupid so I started waving back. Then I noticed a guy was also waving more like waving at us to come in. So curious I swan in and when I got close they were shouting SHARK! Once on the shore I saw the 6 footer cruising right where we were seconds before. Still went back next weekend.
