Another exceptional video! Which bait you like better for Salmon, Kripl Anchovy or Apex? Thank you for the swell scoop.

early in the season like now I like the apex. Anchovies in the late summer fall. Apex is easier to use so I recommend that for first few times out. Thanks for watching, happy you enjoyed it!

Great job those are some nice salmon! Going in and out of tomales is only bad at an extreme outgoing tide unless you have a big boat it gets like a class 5 river! I remember listening to the Elk bugle when I fished there. 👍😃🐟🦀

Wow, thanks Chris, I was wondering how/where you bled your fish, good idea. I really like the way your boat is set up! What a bummer on that crab! Not only the loss but the pinch. I got double pinched on the opening week. He managed to get me on the top of the hand, blood everywhere!! First crab of the season. My bad, I had him by the back legs and was holding it too loose! It was one of those maybe keeper size too. Just not snug enough in the comb. Took a week to quit hurting. Could you show how you check to see if the crab is a soft shell, I know but it took me a while to learn how to test them. Wow, two thumbs down? Whats not to like?
@ChrisPfish24 жыл бұрын
thanks for the comment. Yeah i was paying more attention to the camera then the crab. I wish i had it on film flying out of the boat. Yeah about the thumbs down, I wish they would say why. I get a few pretty quick when I post a video. Probably just the same people. I had one person tell me I look like and idiot and stop acting like a fishing guide. It was deleted a few hours later. All you can do is laugh it off. Till the next one...

Thanks for sharing your outing...I enjoyed it! How long were your setbacks for the salmon? Trolling speed? Did your FF help mark the salmon?
@ChrisPfish24 жыл бұрын
yeah thanks for watching and leaving a comment! for setbacks you mean from the downrigger ball? maybe 40 feet. Trolling speed 2-3mph. I use the FF to mark locations i hook up on the gps. I use to locate bait, and sometimes you can see salmon on the bait, but mainly what depth the bait is at.
