@blendercuba92782 жыл бұрын
The whole idea of thrash metal was to sound as dirty as they could with the time technology. If you ever listen the separate tracks from the original raining blood record, you'll see one, specifically for noise, that contains something similar to a white noise mixed with what sounds like vinyl scratch or static, and, there's another track that is just the rain sound and thunders. They were put there intentionally ;) Also, the distortion and equalization, and the recording setup, were made to sound "thrashier", and the kick and snare in Lombardo's drum, sounded dirtier and more distorted than in Hell Awaits, a previous record made with less resources.

Goddammit U might be right but I can't stand rap... No one more sorry than me all my friends love it... I just prefer blasting Slayer/Sepultura/Bolt thrower /Death and some more potent stuff, I've always respected rap but could never understand why they had to use such a dumb (pls accept it's just my point of view) way to sing/talk (I dunno what I should call it... Rythmically talking?) it always annoyed the crap out of me to a point where I have a "no rap, no reaggaeton, no pop" rule in my house.

Yeah I hear you bro. As a musician myself what I say about rap is it lacks the musicianship of a good metal band, or any other type of popular music for that fact. It's all done with computers, synthesizers, sequencers, and other electronic bs, not from people playing real musical instruments that require skill from the player to make it sound good. That is the main reason I don't like rap or hip hop.

@Jokkkkkkel7 жыл бұрын
I generally have to agree. He's a good drummer! But in the original version Dave Lombardo plays double time on the ride after the first break. You can hear and see, that BCs drummer doesn't do it. Besides this, his drums seem to be heavily triggered. Think about it. To compare, watch some life scenes from Lombardo playing this. Older or newer, it doesn't matter much. I'm a big Lombardo fan, you might have noticed ;). Give a try to his others bands. In first Grip Inc. Hands up for both: Slayer and Body Count!
