I only use erasable gel pens. Now I'm not afraid to write things down cause I can always erase it! It's a lifesaver for scheduling!

Where do you get them? What brand are they?
@Musicismysanity29
@Musicismysanity29 5 ай бұрын
@ana419 I ordered them through Amazon. The brand I bought is Frixion. I think that was the cheapest option. I got a multi colored pack of 15 for $26. I'm sure most any erasable pen you buy will work good though.

I don't have ADHD but do have autism. I often need to multitask like heck, even to the extent where the original task is just ditched. I struggle to separate work and play, so my brain tries to do them simultaneously. Thank you for this video. :)

These streams are so helpful for me! I'm in a different timezone so I tune in when I need them. They get me through my workday when my motivation is so low that I'd otherwise spend hours scrolling and get nothing done. Thank you so much for sharing these 💙 I like to play some rain and thunder sounds at the same time to shush the chatty part of my brain that thinks in tangents.

Thank you so much for doing this body double videos! This is the first time I’ve used one and it helped a lot! I got several things done that I probably would have procrastinated till next week if I hadn’t used a strategy like this, so thank you!

I thought this was a silly concept and a waste of one's time. How wrong I was. I was able to accomplish far more than I expected. You got to love ADHD. Thanks for sharing. Be blessed.

Ok so if you guys have any suggestions I will gladly take them. So I have asked for help but when my teacher gives me something to read at home and ancer questions on I feel like I can do them at school and then I get home and start to do them and don't have the mentle energy to do them and it is like I have a huge burnout. But I can do my math homework with ease and I have always had issues with reading and rembering what I am reading. Please help Agen I have asked for help from my teacher's and nothing has changed

Can you do them at lunch or get to school early to try and do them? I am a teacher and just recently realized that marking in the evening is the worst for me and makes me more burnt out! I've been getting up early some mornings instead and do my marking then.

Hi! I kinda get at what you may mean, but i suggest the first thing you gotta get answer from yourself, it can take a bit to figure it out, is wether you are: bored by texsts or the task given by your teacher and that's why it's hard for you to remember and understand all the information you are getting and then do something with it for exemp. summarize or smth ( you could check it out by doing similar tasks, but for your own enjoyment with something you are interested in and is unrelated to the shool subject) ooooooor if you simply have a problem with reading tasks, which can be easily linked to for exmp. in my case dyslexia. As with dysexia and also other neurospicey things it is harder to find context that tasks are asking for if they are not stated straightfoward, but also when texts are long it is very likely you could lost an information you just read 4 sentences ago if you occur another one that you need to remember. With the second one, as it is very taxing when it comes to energy, i recommend underlining every info you find in the texst you are actively reading that is related to the questions you need to answer. Also it could be a little easier if you'd 1st read the whole texst fast - familiarize yourself with the sentecnes (bare with me xD) 2nd read in paragraphs (if it doesnt have them, create it) 3rd read the texst AND questons out loud, think out loud and get to your conlcusions/ answers out loud Remember these two causes can occur at the sme time, especially if you are on for exemp on ADHD spectrum. Both of these things i wrote got the idea from the educationalist that diangosed me with my learning disabilities such as dyslexia and it honestly it workes most of the time. Also please remember to give yourself some grace, take care of your needs within your strengh and capability and if you are noticing that you expiriencing some signs of burnout or smth else that might be similar, if you can seek some advice and help from someone, you got this!

Also, you could always try sitting down to do school work after doing some physical activity like going on a brisk walk/run/doing cardio exercises for half hour at least. I usually find it easier to focus even on subjects I struggle with afterwards@@joseytiensvold
