How does a whole body get overlooked in a burned car???!

I heard that the Memphis police overlooked a body in a car. It was mangled after a crash (they were drag racing). Apparently they didn’t know about a passenger.

It was also a body in the back of a old white construction van in the Memphis impound lot a few years back they only discovered it because the decomposing smell was so strong
