I'm afraid I agree with Vera, this could not be more exciting! Subscribed within the first few minutes of viewing. I am humbled by the enthusiasm for Land Rovers around the globe, whereas in the UK the brand is soon to quietly fade away, like a chastened dog, tail between its legs. Thanks to a pair of charming Germans keeping the spirit alive... I'd like to think Britain never really left Europe, we're just on a break.

You have both done great with your first body off project. It seemed relatively painless - either plenty of editing or it really was relatively painless. A bummer about the oil pan, but you did come up with a solution. I am looking forward to what you do about rotating the engine. The other option if you can't rotate it is to take the heads off to see if there is something obvious, followed by the sump to view the crank & rods if you still can't turn it with the heads off. I know that would be a bugger, though they most likely have to come off anyway no matter what you find if it is an internal engine problem. I can't wait till part 2 of this series.

I've had to go and hug my Land Cruiser after watching that ! You 2 are brilliant and should be brought in by Land Rover as designers .I would be tempted to buy one if you approved it ,even though I'm a Toyota man !! . Body off on your example is made bearable as its like new as are the bolts etc .Rusty exapmles could get near impossible to seperate body and chassis also as they get older and less in value I cant see them getting repaired sadly due to the work involved . ....
