When painting Aluminum make sure you prime with a vinyl etc primer like Azko Nobel PA10. Also when fitting a electric fuel pump always fit a Racor fuel filter which comes with sediment and water trap. 3 to 5 micron will be just great. Fit a Donaldson Diesel engine cyclonic pre and a main filter with safety filter, you will need the housing too. ( Any filter without a safety filter is not a high standard of filter.) On the Series 2 & Defenders make sure to fit Toyota Landcruiser front n rear differentials and Nissan 1970's Patrol cast iron housing transfer cases (Source from Aussie) these are bulletproof whereas the next best is Landcruiser but they are prone to blowing apart. On power steering replace Land Rover box with a early 1980's Toyota Landcruiser steering box with draglink.
