If I'm pericing at my house Is it legal
@BodyPiercingTattooing Жыл бұрын
Well, that would really depend on what your local laws are. Some areas regulate piercing and you and the studio require that licensing to pierce. Also especially in the US, if you are operating as a business there maybe zoning laws that prohibit you doing that in your home. Then there is the question of being properly trained as a piercer. Meaning apprenticing under a well experienced and skilled piercer for at least 2 years.

where can i get the tamper pin from
@BodyPiercingTattooing4 жыл бұрын
It's called a taper pin. I know that sometimes when I say it it sounds like tamper pin. You can find them on most body piercing jewelry sites. Depending on what you are using it for, you may want threaded or pin style to make it easier when putting post jewelry in. If you are stretching the longer the taper is the better because the increase in thickness will be slower.

I've done a number of videos on apprenticeship. Piercing Apprenticeship When to Quit or Avoid Body Piercing Basics EP134 - kzbin.info/www/bejne/o2apqKCLnqmIZpo How to Become a Piercer Part 1: Is it the Career for You? Body Piercing Basics EP 20 - kzbin.info/www/bejne/roHVfHt5g8eXd9k How to Become a Piercer Part 2: Research - Body Piercing Basics EP 21 - kzbin.info/www/bejne/emnJkqRpgJt_fNE How to Become a Piercer Part 3, Finding Your Master - Body Piercing Basics EP 22 - kzbin.info/www/bejne/n3SznZ-ZpZ56hpY I'm not sure if I covered the standard cost and the truth is that there isn't really an industry standard. It largely depends on the market where the studio is located and if the end goal is to have you work for them. Either way there should be a clear written agreement on when and how you will be paid. Also if you are a sub-contractor or employee.

The reality is there is no replacement for doing piercing supervised by an expert. You just can't do that by watching someone pierce or through research. Additionally there is learning the proper way to clean and sterile and gaining good habits when it comes to cross-contamination prevention that needs supervision. Lastly access to the proper tools, jewelry and equipment. The reality is that a professional piercer has great access.

It depends on how long the jewelry has been out. If you catch it right away and before the tissue connects in the center, you can get the jewelry in. A trick is to turn the labret around and put a band aid over the disc. It will usually keep it open tell you can get another ball.

I know your gonna yell at me but I just wanted a new hole in one of my ears & it’s just hard to get out without my twin boys & it was also during quarantine. So I wanted an 18g piece of jewelry in my conch so I bought 16g piercing needles back I thought the needle had to be a size bigger. But after watching this I think I was wrong. Also the 18g stud was internally threaded & wouldn’t go in the needle so I had to get an externally threaded one. So when piercing initially are you suppose to use externally threaded so that it goes in the needle? I just found your videos today & your awesome.

I had a princes Albert twice. The first time I was nicked in a very vascular area. It closed after a week and a half. Dearing that time I would have time I felt I peed my pants but it was just blood. But I'm good now
@jameslawrence3698Ай бұрын
The Jacob's ladder i got done was good. The same person said it was like talking a lit match blowing it out and touching the hot tip to your member That's exactly what it felt like. I think it's telling a person exactly how a piercing's going to feel may relax the person getting a piercing depending on the area like I said that was a very delicate area and it's like well I've let it match blew it out and accidentally touched the hot part to me and I'm like in case of that's the same sensation I'm going to get getting this Jacob's ladder in my member three times and it was exactly how we described it. I just wish you did a better job and use that one tool that you talked about for doing a Prince Albert but he did the old school way and I was nicked inside a very vascular area where it took like a week and a half for it to stop bleeding
@jameslawrence3698Ай бұрын
I I think it's a really good idea of trying to inform the customer of what the pain's going to be like from a scale from 1 to 10 and if you can give him an example that maybe they have had their life like I said when I got my Jacob's ladder done the guy was like yeah it's like taking a hot match blowing it out and touching that red heart part to the place I was getting pierced and I'll be damned if it didn't feel exactly how he described it so when a customer has more information about what the pain feels like and it might be similar to something they've been through already will prepare them better for the piercing
@jameslawrence3698Ай бұрын

Body Piercing & Tattooing Thank you because I’ve tried to just put the septum ring back in and it doesn’t work so I’ll get the tape ,do I have to get the smallest size taper or does the size not matter or does it need to be the size of the gauge of the piercing ring

@@harleymouse485 the taper should be the size of the jewelry you wish to put in. If you need to apply a lot of pressure or it's overly painful, you are not stretching, you are piercing and should stop and see a piercer.
