I'm 33 now and I bought and started working on my first classic at 16. You have done a great job with creating another 69 charger and you should be extremely proud of your car and drive the wheels off it! I also did a body swap with a Studebaker onto a Dakota just like you have done and it's more intimidating than hard. Like you said almost anyone can build a car like this, just take the time and enjoy the project! Keep in mind that the hardest part of a build like this in only in your mind lol!

It’s easier to say crown Vic. Most people see a Mercury and still call it a Vic. But yes technically speaking it’s a mercury charger.

I salute u my friend. I scrapped 3 road runners and a 69 charger about 8 years ago. I never imagined people would build such seemingly destroyed cars if I had saved them I'd copy your build but with the wrecked 08 srt8 charger I have out back. I had a 69 sport satellite since I was 14 I'm 42 now I sold it 2 years ago and will never forgive myself. I'm on the hunt t now to build myself another sport satellite. My old one was all original 383 auto had slight rust around back glass but that was all the rust it had. It was a red car with what I thought was a previous black vinyl top. Days before I sold it I found out the vinyl top was actually white. I want another sport satellite or to talk the guy out of my old one (he refuses to sell it back even for 10k double what I let it go for) nobody knows what a sport satellite is that's why I want it back so bad. I had the car for years and decided it was holding me back because it was a constant reminder of what I hadn't done. I talked a big game for years without backing it up so the weight on me I thought would lift and I'd have a fresh start and it kinda did help me to let go. Now I am clear in the head and focused and can put myself into another car and hopefully I'll get my car back someday. I have dreams of me but older driving the car to a funeral as bad as that is its true its a reoccurring dream. It really confuses me having the dream 3 times the past 2 years but God will handle the hard stuff it's not my burden I just have to stay the course. I advise u to do the same. I was a mechanic at dealerships all that crap now I flip polaris rangers and old cars from home. I make more money than I ever did punching a time clock and I answer to myself God is my manager lol. I would advise u to do the same. Ur clearly a talented mechanic u can make a great living using the gifts u showed us in this video. U are your only limit my friend. God bless u and my hats off to u. I'm a 3rd generation mechanic and I've done this stuff since I could hold a wrench and I'm very impressed dude. Fantastic job. Keep it up. Make videos. U will be successful I can feel it. Trust in God he's always there to help just ask him. God bless u and have faith and confidence in you abilities my friend and u will be a success but more importantly u will be happy and that's what matters the other shit sorts itself out with age comes wisdom and with wisdom comes strength in ur gifts. Keep em coming brother. Great job. I'm seriously very impressed

I have been wondering what happened with your project. Great work! This is the best body swap Vic-Charger I have seen. You did a fantastic job positioning the panels and your wheel fitment is excellent. Most of these don’t get the body down far enough to cover the rockers and the wheels sit out too far. You should write a book. I’d buy it!

What did you start with, a 68-70 coronet? I know the charger bodies are top dollar these days. Was all the door components (glass, vent windows, etc.) the same for a charger door? Can you list all the charger parts you needed to get to make the switch? I figure all the sheet metal but any small parts? Looking forward to seeing a video of you driving it around.
@jasoncardoza6375Ай бұрын
Majority of the panels are different from chargers and coronets. I have a 69 coronet and they’re up there in price too. Any b body is 10k minimum for a decent roller. Cool cars but definitely not worth what people are paying for them and fully restored it’s a fortune to do because parts are expensive. Luck and hard work you’ll make a profit or break even. Don’t get me wrong I love mine but i paid 3k as a complete and solid car with an extra 440 and 727 but even running and driving there’s no way that car is realistically 10k. People are just pricing themselves out of the market with their ridiculous pricing
