There's no paddling on this reef during low tide. You can't, because the water underneath you runs out. You're only chance at catching waves as they roll in and suck the reef dry is to stand at the edge of the rock slab drop-off and jump into them. If you can do that, then welcome to barrel wonderland (population = you).

With everything that's going on in the world right now, there's nothing like getting into some waves and surf to take us away from it all. Self-isolation in some deep barrels is a valid way of social distancing!
I love exploring new waves in new locations and I love bring my viewers along my journey. Sometimes it get's sketchy as some of the waves I surf (shallow reefs, dry reefs, deep ocean slabs) get pretty gnarly. Hey check out the salty surf housing nose mount and tail mounts. I think it’d add some great perspectives for your videos. Nose mount seems like the choice though. Plus putting a 360 camera can get some amazing shots. Just bought one and it’s pretty sweet. You may have already used one but idk
