I've listened to Rammstein for a good while now and I know Till and his songwriting well, my theory is that he's talking about himself. He has admitted (and I think we all see) that he puts on a very intimidating, powerful and strong personality live. He does this to deal with his stage fright and to "fake" that confidence that he doesn't have irl. He's a much more reserved, gentle and sweet person off stage. The part "Führe mich" (Lead me) I think is his real self to his alter ego on stage. "Lead me through this tough time, I'm too scared" and makes it seem like an entirely new person (because it's so far from him). Would also work well with the "One body but two names" (as most people know him as "That crazy person that sings scary and is scary too" and then the other part of him the "Calm, introverted man that likes to write poems". What kind of version is this? Edit: This must be the beta version that was leaked in 2012. I like the Nymphomaniac version more. Till sounds more melodic there.

It seems right to me, i know one early version doesn't have the little "ding" , which this has. But yeah the Nymphomanic version I think is the best to

I love your analysis/interpretation of Rammstein's songs, I hope you write a review of every song by this band. Rammstein is not a petty, dull singing, loud band. Their lyrics (hats off to lyricist Till Lindemann) are so phoethic and phlospic and address the issues of the human abyss like abuse, inbreeding, death, etc.❤❤❤

To me id say this song is about domination. Owning someone in body and mind to the point you are like one being. Though it's a bonus song on there, it's on the "Liebe Ist Fur Alle Da" album, which has songs about different kinds of love/ways to show love , albeit mostly twisted. So it'd fit the theme. Plus its in the Nymphomanic movie, so fits the theme there based on that interpretation. Ive seen people say this is about a twin/conjoined twins but i think thats if you take the words literal.

I believe it's litterally about the coinjoined twins... that would explain the whole text, as well as Rammstein thematic... I could be wrong though, they are always just a multiverse in the way of thoughts and presentation :D
