Athletic approsch. I like that. Will use that in my dialog. At 70yrs I am the oldest OG under the barbell at the Local YMCA. Just want to be a wiry OG able to pickup heavy objects and take my body on adventures.🏋🏻♂️🏊🏻✨️☄️

I'm 70 also. Have been competing non stop since 1974. Over 100 meets. Started training in Louie's garage in 1979, and trained at WSBB for 20 years. Best lifts are 733 squat, 500 bench and 622 deadlift at 198. Since the age of 55, have set 37 world records in the bench, in various age divisions, in 5 different federations, WNPF, AAPF, RPS, IPA, SPF. And...have had 15 surgical procedures including both hips replaced. both shoulders replaced, open heart AVR surgery, bilateral tricep avulsions, etc. My goal is to bench 400 at 198, at age 70. Louie was a long time friend and mentor to me. He had a profound effect on my life. I am one of the very FEW to receive the Silver Sword from him. Best of luck to you Robert Thompson! You are a warrior continuing to slay the dragon!

You went overboard with calling that the best system . Today's best powerlifters do not use that method . That method was for people in suites an shirts. That's the guys who thrive in it
