Bodycam: Butler SWAT Hit Trump Shooter Before Secret Service Snipers

Jeff Ostroff Analyzes the body cam of an officer who captures the local Butler SWAT officer in action shooting and disabling the Trump shooter on the roof of the AGR building about 10 seconds before the Secret Service Hercules 1 countersniper team fired the killed shot which permanently disabled the Trump shooter. This was all captured at the site of the shooting of Donald Trump at his rally in Butler PA on July 13th, 2024. The Secret Service Hercules 1 Snipers would have had time to react and possibly even prevent Trump from coming out on the stage if they heard about the suspect on the roof a little bit sooner. At least the Secret Service detail could have surrounded Trump and removed him from the stage once they found out there was an armed shooter on the roof of the AGR building, but there wasn't enough time they did not get enough advanced notice.

Those CS teams were set up on other locations on the roof. They had to move to the final positions. Considering those buildings were in close and not even in their field of fire they likely only knew a general direction. The closer team could see anything. They may as well not have existed. The actual team who made the kill may have been looking all over before seeing him. It just plain wasn’t their job to watch that rooftop. The failure here was leadership. Either a garbage plan or failure to execute the plan.

It’s unbelievable that the local police knew about Crooks having a gun on the roof for 3 minutes or so before he started shooting and not one of them had the foresight to run over towards the stage and alert the secret service to get Trump off of the stage. Those cops should have been able to phone or radio the secret service and let them know. Absolutely no communication between the local law enforcement and the secret service. I'm still perplexed as to why this guy inconspicuously ran across the roof in an upright position, with no consideration that there might be a sniper on the water tower. Yes, he had flown a drone two hours earlier (another perplexing anomaly) scouting out the event layout, but the SS snipers didn't take their positions on the roofs until 10-15 minutes before Trump came out. That guy was on the opposite side of the building in relation to the water tower when he was spotted. Did he just assume there would be no one on the water tower, or, did he know there would be no one on the water tower? For someone that was as smart as people claim he was, why would he assume no one was on the water tower. Seems to me to be the best place a counter sniper team would be located as it had the best overall view of the entire event...and beyond! Allegedly he had been at the site a few weeks before the rally scoping out the site, but how could he know the layout of the stage at that point, and where his best vantage point would be to even consider taking a shot at Trump? And why would the North SS snipers have an obstruction to the exact part of the roof that crooks would take his shot from? How would Crooks know where to position himself on the roof, so as to be obstructed from the North snipers view if they didn't take their positions until minutes before Trump came out? Instead of shooting at Trump, it seems he should have played the lottery instead!

Man, the angles don't add up here. Look at where Crooks' body is on roof - about 6ft behind the crest of the roof line - dead from a headshot. i.e., he didn't move when hit. A person standing on the ground 120 yards in front of him could not possibly see Crooks' below the crest line. In other words, he could not siganl affirmation of the kill shot because it wouldn't be possible for him to have seen it. Maybe, he heard through coms he was down, but he didn't see it. Further, "if" he did hear it on coms, it wasn't a SS kill shot then, because they weren't on the same channels.

The south snipers had a great view because of their elevation. Much much better than the swatt shooter on the ground. That doesn't help alleviate conspiracies in fact it makes it look like the SS snipers deliberately waited. They were lined up for a shot before the shooting began. The snipers knew at least 2 minutes earlier. You can see them aiming at the AGR building right when the local officer reported someone on the roof. This story about communication problems is about as plausible as the roof slope excuse. Obviously the sniper had a clear opportunity before the shooting began. It's slightly possible there was confusion about whether Crooks was police, but that would have resulted in them not shooting at all. It seems like without that SWAT officer, Crooks would have had plenty of time to finish the job. Perhaps the secret service can somehow defend their position, but right now they are lying and withholding evidence so I don't think they deserve the benefit of the doubt.

If you look at Buttler farms on google earth, or google maps, it appears the south SS snipers had a clear view of crooks of 15 to 20 feet past the left edge of the tree, which was obscuring the north SS sniper team. Crooks body and blood stain position was 20 roof panels over from the right side of the AGR building. The SS guys had an elevation advantage of 18.7 feet. The distance was about 553 feet.

Protection teams broke the cardinal rule of not protecting the high ground. It's not that the sniper teams were positioned bad, it's just that they needed more of them or at least spotters set up on the roofs, water tower, or boom lifts to eliminate the blind spots. Radio control probably isn't a good choice because it is too hard to keep a consistent signal at those frequencies. There is no good way to sync to that signal without long, undisturbed reception periods. Radio also requires additional hardware. OTOH all these things are networked frequently if not constantly and could easily be synced to the second using NTP with a trivial software addition or within milliseconds with slightly more complex software.

Why are we not being told ANY of this by the authorities? There's a suspicious lack of curiosity from everyone involved when it comes to getting answers. Unfortunately for them though, it seems they didn't factor in the tenacity of independent journalists and regular concerned citizens online when it comes to learning the truth of what really happened that day. From people who actually give a damn. There should've been DAILY press updates from that incompetent woman USSS Director Cheetle on the progress of the investigation and then carried on by her successor once she was replaced. Yet there is nothing. They just destroy all the evidence and keep quiet. Very suspicious.

It is impossible now to explain why the SS took 16 seconds to fire when Butler Swat was 30 feet below the counter sniper team and managed a firing window and a shot in six seconds.

bribery. Also Hercules 1 had 2 armed snipers, they should have both fired. Instead only 1 of them fired at the now unarmed assassin while the other stood still and did nothing but spot despite also having a rifle.

@@jason200912 One of the Hercules teams didn't have line of sight, because of the tree. That was the team claimed by some to have flinched when the shooting started. They looked up from their scopes and let their rifle drop. I don't think that was a flinch. I think it was frustration.

The Bald Guy in the Grey Suit is the person that gave the Green Light for the "Pacman Peremiter" leaving the ARG building unsecure so the shooter can climb up the roof.

The diagrams you’re showing and the narration you’re providing still maintain that the Hercules 1 south team took the kill shot, but Trump said in his X Spaces interview with Elon Musk that the counter-sniper that took the kill shot was a 23 year veteran and was 400 yards away from Crooks - are you correct or is Donald Trump?

The apparent wound track indicates that the shot came slightly from Crook's left or straight on if anything. For the shot to have come from the far grandstands, the wound track would run from Crook's right to his left... unless he momentarily turned his head decidedly westward. Possible, but less likely. In this matter, Trump is reliant on what he is told, pretty much as we are.

Gray Hughes made a good point that the OFFICER whose body cam footage we are watching SHOULD HAVE ATTEMPTED TO CONTACT SOMEONE in SS to get Trump off the STAGE after hearing the radio calls of MAN ON ROOF. Instead this officer said, Stay Low Bro...something is up
