I notice how he was stalling while he was waiting for the right moment to run but when they opened his door he had to go. He knew he had a warrant for his arrest and the second he stepped out of the car he'd be detained. They were being delicate with him because he'd fled a peace officer before & had a history of violence and were trying to not escelate the situation.

Silly cops, don't they know that you aren't allowed to hold the criminal class accountable for their actions. That's why they have to call off a chase when it gets dangerous. I’m black and I can say these are good cops. The cops in the south would not have tried to save his life they genuinely tried. Race was not involved here only the stupidity of the driver. Even if you feel the cops are wrong just comply and tell the judge of grievance or file a complaint the next while you are ALIVE. These cops were very respectful and professional. I wish there were more like them across the southern states especially. Sending up prayers for the cop that had to take a life and to the drivers family for their loss.

He had a felony warrant for domestic charges for violating a order for protection by choking his baby momma while she was holding their 6 month old and he's already been convicted for felony domestic in the past. He's also been convicted for a felon in possession of a firearm before. The cops knew who he was. And he knew they were gonna lock him up. He was in his 30's with a long criminal history.
