She is unlikely to take that to the cell. it's most likely provided by her defense council so she has access to legal material as it's all digital format. The lock is to "seal" it as it contains privileged legal information for her and her attorneys eyes only. She would only have access to it in court or in a controlled area much like a visitor area for her to review the material on her own time. it would otherwise be stored in the custody of prison staff .

I hope Lori's attorney is alright. If she is battling cancer she doesn't need to have to deal with the stress Lori brings to her life. The judge is cute.
