The little man might've been in shock from the ordeal but he was still respectful. Maybe there will be a follow-up to see how he's doing with a Thank You to responding Officers. (Not required but always appreciated.) I'm glad they didn't have to shoot that wild-eyed peckerhead to get him out of the car and from behind the wheel. That would've added a whole new level of trauma for the youngster.

It was sweet but the child seemed very visibly like not wanting repeated hugs or to be carried. He wanted to know where his mom was and he wanted to go. Again very nice of the officer and so very loving.

And if the child is that small, typically parents do not give permission to show the child on the public news. It varies from State to State, but typically this is why you dont see bodycam footage of minors who aren't perpetrators.

They were pretty rough on him for no reason. He said he wasn't doing anything wrong. I don't understand why the police would continue to treat him like a criminal after he said he was innocent. Why did he pull his gun out anyway? There was no need for that. Nor was there any need for the reckless driving. Sure maybe they saved some kid who was kidnapped, but I fail to see why that couldn't be handled by a social worker.

@@ok-gz1gu, we shouldn't arrest people just because they commit crimes. Had the police let him go then I'm sure the kid would have been fine. As for the car being stolen. I don't really understand why it's that big of a deal. He obviously needed the car more than the person he stole it from. They can always buy another car if they really needed to.

This policeman is a hero. He didn’t know if he Could be shot at or what he was dealing with. He sounded so concerned and so emotionally invested it made me think he must be a dad himself. Great job comforting the little one too. ❤️❤️❤️

I thought he was asking, the officer said his mom had called them and he was like "my mom called?" Like he understood what happened now. I think at first he was scared they were going to think he was a bad guy too, kids get weird ideas.
