i'm so happy to find this, this will be the first pattern i'll be sewing that is not doll size it is so nice to find this sew-along to help me feel more confident in what i'm even doing because there is a lot more fabric obviously which is shocking when coming from only needing fat quarters so I don't want to mess up!

Hi Brittany! Your sleeves always go in so quickly! Do you do the two baste rows and adjust to make them fit? I struggle with setting in a smooth sleeve :(

Could I swap the sleeves for view A's? I like the neckline of this one but i'm not a huge fan of the bell sleeves

Did you make adjustments to the length? I made this in XL and it did not fit my height. The crotch couldn't reach. I'm 5'7". I had to go back and split it in half and add 5" of waist band. Just wanted to let others know who are a little taller.

Would you say that the center back seam is necessary, or do you think that it could be omitted, cutting the back bodice piece on the fold and eliminating the seam allowance?

Christina Stephenson hey!! For this pattern, it’s necessary because the back bodice is drafted with a curve in it, so it’s not a straight fold line like the front piece. If it was a straight fold like the front piece then yes you could probably omit it, but with the curve in it, I wouldn’t.
