Take off speed is not really standard, as it depends on a few factors; the make, weight plus load, elevation/temperature and wind. Then your calulation will yield V1, Vr, and V2. Vr is really the point and speed at which you rotate (lift), but V1 will appear on the PFD and/or audio notification simultaneously. V1 and Vr are normally very close, so the tendency is to rotate immediately after v1 passes. Note V1 is the speed at which you cannot abort the take off, while V2 is for taking off safely, if you have enough runway 😊. Anwyas, peace and all the best!

GPS speedometer doesn't rely on cellphone reception so the guy isn't doing anything wrong. And secondly even if he wasn't using airplane mode it still wouldn't make a difference.

Nope, maybe if he would be a one inch to headset. Still, due safety regulation a signal from phones can affect some sensors in the air plane. Well, there would be for sure no way to get air plane crash but the standards are pretty high. Also you can receive GPS signal even in a air plane mode, it is about receiving, not emitting anything
@Trombo19768 ай бұрын
You can also see he didn't have air plane mode on! Air traffic controllers are the ones who will hear the "brrt-brrrt". Not the pilot! Happens regularly... You can't help stupid

The Takeoff Speed is influenced by many factors. How many People are on the Plane, how are they Set (is the Plane balanced by weight (each passanger has it's on weight)), how much Cargo, is the Cargo balanced and Sorted by it's weight, how much fuel has the Plane, what is the weather conditions, what is the condition of the Runway, how are the conditions of the tires, and so on. So you cant generalize the Takeoff Speed of an Airplane. But still it's fascinating.

Rotation speed is done by weight only. Not tires, runway condition or even weather condition or where passengers are seated. Just weight and density altitude.
