Hello, very clear video. Just a question; why do we use the most restrictive weight(ZFW, TOW, LW)? Thanks!
@NRT-dz8dp2 жыл бұрын
Because the most restrictive weight will be your limiting weight. According to limiting weight you have allowed traffic load which must not be exceeded, otherwise your plane will be too heavy for flying.

I get that question allot! you dont actually need anything other than basic high school, however there is allot of physics and maths involved in obtaining the ATPL so good to have. Also I would say a UNI degree is a good thing and valued by companies also. I was an Electrical Engineer before I became a pilot. XD

Its up to the PILOTS, but you have to ask the flight attendants to ask them. I depends how busy we are, personally always happy to let people in, once its safe to do so. Please wait till the end on the disembarking if you want to do that also. at the start we are still busy :)

Great video thanks so much! I'm confused about the uncorrected stab trim figure, how did you determine it was 6.0? I ended up with a TOW of 64341.0, which doesn't feel "wrong" but that would be a corrected stab trim of 1.0 if I just take the last two digits... I think I'm missing something here! haha Any help would be awesome :)

Great video! I get confused with the stab trim... :( When putting in the to fuel in top left, my ofp gave me 7796, if feels "wrong" to replace 96 with 9.5, that's almost 100kg difference?! Then adding the different weights for pax and cargo, I ended up with a zfw of 56721.2.but the balance limit wanted something to end by 4.6 and 6.6... If anyone can help, it would be awesome :)

Hello thanks for the video. Just one confusion, you took 69.9 tons as t/o fuel instead of 67.5 tons. Where did you get this figure¿ thanks
@RobinBudik6 жыл бұрын
Johnny Mark 67.5 is the actual one :) 69.9 is the limit (MTOW). It is the total plane’s take off weight, not only fuel weight. Take off fuel is 9509,7 ;). Ryanair (it is a ryan loadsheet) uses MTOW limits of 66990 or 69990 -> because the actual take off weight is 67506 he had to use the 69990 limit.

if you just add the weight of anything how do we know how it affects the balance of the aircraft? the adjusted weight takes into account the position of that mass.
