Only found this video now. I last flew the 7-6 almost 9 years ago. So many things I'd forgotten, but a lot of it started coming back to me pretty quickly. When we were cleared for TO we'd say "rocks and clocks" meaning the terrain display was up on the PF's nav display (both if WX wasn't a factor and the radar wasn't being used) and we started the flight time on the clocks. Thanks for the memories.👍

Kline, Thank you for taking the time to do these different videos. I truly appreciated it. Would you please at least show the same checklist that is viewable and readable from my point of you that you read and do that I can follow up with your readings? thanks in advance

Nice video, but you took off with a map flag and a ground speed of 0 GS=0.. all of that i think happened because you select the Right IRS switch to ATT instead of NAV during your preflight.

Quick question: when starting the engines, I noticed you started No 1 with the 1-both-2 switch in the "2" position. So I obviously don't understand how it works. Can you explain?
@frank_av8tor2 жыл бұрын
The 767 (and 757 too) has two igniter systems on each engine, usually you start both engines using either system 1 or system 2. Both Means both igniters (1 and 2) are working at the same time. Depending on company procedure, Igniter 1 is used when Captain is Pilot Flying and Igniter 2 when FO is PF. If the engine doesn't light up (EGT rising) in 20 seconds, that means that igniter system is failed. Use both for the next start attempt. Notify maintenance. Hope that helps. Video is pretty accurate to real life, with a few minor differences.
