In my opinion, you are one of the best scale modelers out here in U-tube land, especially in this scale. There or others equally as talented but they usually build in the larger scales. I must have watched this video series on the B-17 at least thirty times and still enjoy it as much as the first time. For instance you are the only person whom I've ever seen make up and install the insulation or the throttle levers in this scale. Your work with th flap detail was a sight to behold. Thank you. I wish it were mine or that I could turn out one as beautiful as the B-17 is my favorite aircraft of all time, PERIOD. Happy modeling.

What attention you have to detail. Great job the G version was added because of the head on attacks by Germans. It helped somewhat but the head on attacks continued. My Uncle flew the B17F in WWII. His story is on KZbin as well. “3 Days in May 1943”. Thanks for displaying your skills.

Just a bit of knowledge I'd like to share with you on aircraft construction both present and past. Never and I mean never is aluminum left "raw". It's always coated with something. Typically the interior is "green" (aircraft primer) and if the exterior is "unpainted", it's still sealed with a clear lacquer or varnish. Aluminum doesn't rust, but oxidization to aluminum is just as damaging in the constantly changing environments that aircraft experience. That's why landing gear and landing gear bays are painted with titanium oxide (white), because of its excellent anti-corrosion attributes, especially over aluminum (it's kind of like zinc ingots on a ship. Except it corrodes at a ridiculously slow rate, unlike the zinc on ships that have to be replaced after only a few years the titanium oxide paint lasts for decades). Otherwise cool build. I'll have to use some of those detail materials and processes.
