This is why I don't believe in the concept of a rainbow nation not in SA and not here in Namibia either, because only one side wants it or believes it and that is us natives. I spoke to a White dude on Reddit and I made a post about how they should leave if they refuse to integrate, and it couldn't register in his mind that I only meant that they should stop seeing themselves as separate because you can't have two opposing nations in a country, especially if said country is a democracy because it will eventually divide itself in two. And since this is our land before it is theirs, it makes no sense that we would allow there to be another nation other than ours. But no, it doesn't make sense to him and many others like him because to them what I said is they should leave, since it's clear that integration doesn't make sense because they are already their own thing. That's the problem with allowing the descendents of settler colonialism so much leeway, because it is literally ingrained in their culture the idea that they are inherently better and therefore have more right to the land they settled regardless of if there were people there before, why else would they keep pushing a myth like this despite it having been disproven time and time again?

On the one hand I agree with your logic, but on the other hand, all of it is a result of White people lying and making up history. Those Black Americans who think they are Indigenous to America are very few and far, but it stems from White people actually finding dark skinned Indigenous peoples in the Americas and White people at one point classifying Native Americans as Negros. The exact same parallel can be seen in South Africa where a white man coined the language grouping "Khoisan" and the apartheid government classified "Khoisan" as Coloured despite Khoisan referring to language and the actual Khoi and San groups being Indigenous Black Africans.
