Not a fan of feather cape nerf but it is still my go to cape for the slow fall as I have a tendency to fall from high places on my builds 😊 and also of course for farming on mistlands.

If you use controller or play on Xbox you might wanna wait on updating the game. There’s a menu bug that makes your c ursor go nuts. I made it to the bog witch but I’m not playing again until a hotfix lands. I arrived late to pc so MnK is out of the question lol.

Too late for me, allready updated the game on XBOX, now I'll wait for the bugfix, for me it is unplayable right now, I can't sleep in my bed, I can't rename portals and like you said, the cursor goes crazy in the menu, not fun to play like this.

Yeah, the whole issue with inventory space and everything we had to slog around with us and now with all the new things and the loss of the jump assist from the feather cape....i think this will remain a point of discussion for a looong time lol. Oh well, we will just have to make do don't we ;) - thx so much for the vid

While I understand the inventory management being part of their vision.. but seriously, a Paperdoll is NOT asking too much, and I'm still baffled that wasn't the default. and maybe they could like.. I dunno add a row to inventory with certain boss kills? SOMETHING, not asking them to overhaul it as much as I have with mods, but just a LITTLE bit...

Everyone on console. The signs and tags for portals are not technically broken. I figured out that the Microsoft keyboard doesn't register. Get it to drop out, and a little menu pops up saying tag. Type in that. it will work.

3 new inventory slots in the shape of something like a 3 for a quiver for arrows/bolts, 3 for holster for vials/potions and maybe something like a pouch for food would actually be quite useful if u have to carry a health potion, stamina potion, posion potion, firepotion, and now a couple of more potions. so maybe u take one slot in the normal inventory i.e. a quiver and get 3 slots of arrows and etc? just a thought but the vials/potionholster would b most useful here...also for the food which is another inventorythug.

I hate the change to the cape, it's a killer when you developed your combat style around the jumping, esp in ashlands. Now, w/o the backpack since mods are currently broken, having to carry 6 potions, leaves only 3 slots to pick up items when carrying your portal your cutter, and your gear. I HATE having to come back home to drop things off EVERY time I pick up a single item. I can't wait to get my backpack again, I'll just stay home and cook until that happens.

There's some weird features with the feasts. If you consume the whole feast, leave the tray that it comes on where it is and then log out, when you log back in the feast will reappear. So it's basically infinite food. I don't know if that was intended or not. I'm playing on mac.

Shame about the feather cape, but I kinda get it. Removing fall damage is already such a big deal, and one cape shouldn't overshadow all others. Fair point about the need for the lightfoot potion taking up another slot. I still think that at least armour should get separate slots. Otherwise, this is a great update, love the new skills, feasts, meads and the scythe!

I haven't had much of a chance to test out stuff on the PTB, but how does the cooking/crafting skill effect where you get extra stuff of what you craft, work with the craft 5 at a time option? Do you get extra 1? Extra 1-5? And how does the skill increase if you make 5 at a time? Do you get 5x the exp? Or do you get as much as if you crafted just 1?

i honestly think that the nerf to feather cape is nothing... i don't use it and i have a lot of fun in the game... it is useful to navigate the Mistlands and the Mountains but aside from that i really don't get why so many people are upset with it and about the inventory space is fine... is a survival so is all about management

Only costs leather scraps, tin and copper, can easily be obtained in the black forest, hope this helps!

I quit playing during the fishing update when they added a dozen bait types and made every fish have 5 size variants. I keep checking in from time to time to see if we finally got bag space but ya. I've never seen the frost caves, mistlands or the ashlands and won't until we get more bag slots.

So add a mod. Equipment and Quickslots will give you 5 dedicated slots for your armor, and 3 extra hotkeyed slots down near the bottom of the screen which you can use for arrow selection or potions or whatever. I use them for potions, but whatever you like, obviously. Thats 8 extra slots total. It can take a day or two to update after a big patch, like todays. Or you can use AzuExtendedPlayerInventory which does the same thing except the 3 extra hotkey slots are on the middle of the left side of the screen instead of down near the bottom of your screen, and lets you add however many lines you like to your inventory screen. Equipment and Quickslots is currently broken by the update, but AEPI is working fine. Small caveat- It doesnt change the location that containers are opened on your screen, so any rows of your inventory beyond the first 4 will be hidden by opening a container, so you might want to rearrange your standard inventory placements if thats a problem. Mass-depositing stuff in chests works just fine, regardless. There's probably a way to move the open-container screen down a bit if you want too, I just dont know what it is.

feather cape nerf made this update not worth it imo:( that just sucks. i dont want to carry ANOTHER potion around just to jump high, how annoying. so basically, the feather cape it worthless outside of Mistlands...
