Awesome as always! I remember you having Brad on before! Brad an Joey together are Legends, over the past year I learned so much those 2 did, what I love about our sport is innovation! I don't care what faction of drag racing anyone is into, class, no prep, street, imports, radial it doesn't matter, we all love head to head first to the finish! I hope everyone is having an awesome day!

Great podcast as always! I love listening to these to learn more about drag racing and the vernacular in the industry. I would love it if you did a series explaining what a “small tire car” or a “no prep” car or a “big tire car” is and the different characteristics each one has. I am a noob at this stuff and am curious about the physical characteristics that make a car fit a certain class/competition.

49:34 I was at rockingham for that event. Go back and look at all of Ryan’s runs at dig or die. The pass he wrecked, is the only pass he had the 1 piece front end on. On top of him having 5 to 10inches of travel. Not saying that is the sole purpose of taking flight, but it was majority of it falls on the 1 piece front end. When racing backwards on the rockingham track, the track has a incline. Another mustang did the same thing earlier in the event, only thing that save him was that he didn’t have a 1 piece, and his hood flew off, saving him from what Ryan did

Joey is A LEGEND to the world of small tire no prep drag racing. Even at his younger age. He's the Best at what he does. Ryan Mitchell is a very close 2nd. Love to watch them both.

Cooper you can guess on instant green . They do the tire crack stuff to try and prevent guessing at the light .
@BogettiStudios11 ай бұрын
But that's when tire crack and chase is a race stuff starts to be annoying. Also a lot of tracks just unscrew the bulbs and leave a pro tree on so it's not true instant green just a .400 with no bulbs
@jkfonyi11 ай бұрын
Ya the no bulbs is instant green . People know after all four staging bulbs are lit it’s dropping sometime next 7 seconds . If it’s a long hold people guess against cars that they know will beat them . Ask Lyle and Pete . I don’t like tire crack either . If your at track it should be 400 pro tree . No idea why just cause it’s no prep they feel like they should do some dumb shit . If you are scared of racing someone on a tree go to the street or the back of track races.

Why couldn't an steel roof and quarters car run pro mod? Minimum weight for a NHRA pro mod is 2425 lbs. Minimum wieght for an NPK car is 2400 lbs. (Both nitrous big blocks up to 5.0") Both sets depends on combo's but are similar. Many NPK cars have shown they can run at or below min weight. Why is it so hard to believe?
@BogettiStudios11 ай бұрын
They just wouldn't be competitive with how the weight is and wheelbase so they could but wouldn't be able to do what promods do. Can't 60’ as good with weight-high
@michaelcummings186211 ай бұрын
@@BogettiStudios could be, but many NPK people claim .92 to .96, 60' times, and running 3.60's. At most Pro Mod races, that gets you in the game. Might not win it, but neither do 31 pro mods in a 32 car field. Just saying, by all rights they are pro mod cars. Steel roofs and quarters and all!!

It's not that Holly won't sponsor Street racers... It's that the ones street racing told them to pound sand because they tried to offering them a ridiculously weak sponsorship with the stipulation they can't street race... Sorry but if you're only saving someone even half or even a quarter of their purchase, nobody's going to want your sponsorship anyway...i cant believe how stingy the deals were anyway they were offering KZbinrs at pri... A company that large shouldnt be that way its greedy and makes nobody want to work with them .. unless you get special treatment like somebody huge like Garrett.. fuel tech definitely takes better care its people ..
