The pranks on stars, and the mean spirited games with the audience bordered on abuse - and her fans abused me for saying it. I never wanted to see her canceled, I just hoped she would learn to be a better person. I liked Ellen way back when she won a stand-up competition, way before she had a talk show. When she started the talk show, I watched it and thought it was pretty good and fun. I especially liked it when she would say at the very end of each show, "Be kind to one another." I thought that was a really good message. But over time she got meaner and meaner, even pranking and humiliating complete strangers and deliberately scaring people out of their wits and then laughing hysterically at their expense, but still said at the end of every show, "Be kind to one another." A lot of people suffer from PTSD (including myself) and I, for one, don't think I could deal with the kind of scares she would deal out. She proved herself a hypocrite so many times I could no longer watch her show or anything else she appeared in. It's almost like her wealth and fame was inversely proportional to how kind she was to others.

Dakota asked staff that were near the set to verify that she had invited Ellen and they said they heard her invite Ellen. This is why these channels are so bad. HERE IS A TRUTHFUL STATEMENT: When I was a bit younger, working as a horseback tour guide, I became friends with(and eventually dated) some of the professional gunfighters at a nearby "Wild West" venue in Arizona. They made serious efforts at authenticism, including types of firearms utilized.(example: Hawken buffalo gun) One of their ironclad rules was that the PERSON(S) BEING SHOT AT loaded the gun that was to be aimed at them,& that gun was never out of their sight until the action was concluded... This, unfortunately, had to be amended to include an additional observer. One of the gunfighters under contract (suffering from mental health issues) DELIBERATELY saw to it that the gun used on him at close range contained LIVE ROUNDS. Suicide-by-proxy is an incredibly shocking and cruel thing. The shooter was exonerated, but was tremendously compulsive regarding witnessed loading,& locking up firearm, plus double & triple-checking before each 'show', after that. I found it incredibly courageous that he could continue in his job. There were families with young children watching that fatal show... The suicidal gun-loader was killed instantly - that coward burdened others with his death for the rest of their lives. HORRIBLE. 😱💔😡

Agree as a Brit I will interject she tried to topple the Royal family, and it backfired on her massively because she clearly had no idea how the British people never mind the press in the UK would react to such brazen attempts at that. Also, some time ago a Twitter user made some interesting observations about Meaghan that hit home she was fixated on William who is happily married there are numerous photos of her behind him and Catherine where her real intent is clear in her eyes and face she clearly envies Kate. I suspect that had some negative come back Harry has been used as a tool she thought she could destroy the Royal family from the inside, but she did not understand how the people in the UK view this and how disgusted we are with the pair of them for the conduct they had put on when the Queen was in her last months and weeks of life and that is something no one here will easily forgive or forget. Most of the two people I feel sorry for are their kids because they will grow up knowing what their mother and father had done and are continuing to try to do, and I do not doubt their cousins will be all too happy privately to let them know. It's sad but ever so predictable and preventable.

In regard to Alec Baldwin, as someone who has been raised, trained, and uses firearms, what the commenter mentioned in this video said is 100% accurate. However, and this is a big however, on set, it is the job of the prop master, and the safety person, to insure that all firearms are not loaded. That's usually two different people who insure that the gun is cold before handing it off to the actor. In the case of the production of Rust, the prop manager, and the safety person, were one and the same. It was also the prop master, who had taken the guns off set and fired live ammunition through them on the weekend prior to the shooting on Monday. Alec was handed a gun, that was stated as being cold,: he trusted the prop manager/safety person, and because of that, tragedy ensued. So yes, does Alec bear some culpability in this incident? Sure. He trusted the wrong person, and didn't verify for himself that the gun was, in fact, cold (which is not industry standard to do so, it's simply basic gun safety). Should he bear the brunt of the blame, and endure the fallout from the shooting alone? No. Hannah Gutierrez-Reed, who was the prop manager who used the firearms over the weekend, was also charged with evidence tampering for allegedly passing narcotics to another crew on member on scene to hide them from investigators, as well as involuntary manslaughter. Everyone is throwing Baldwin on the fire for this, and no one is talking about Hannah Gutierrez-Reed. Why? Because no one in the general public knows who she is, and Baldwin is famous. Dragging Baldwin through the mud gets clicks and likes, when Gutierrez-Reed through the mud will gain a collective "huh?"
