Dude, not only do you have EVERY amp I dream about at night, but more importantly YOU KNOW HOW TO DO A F'N AMP DEMO. I've been dying to to hear a proper down-tuned and relatively standard tuning comparison of these amps with varying pedals. I am officially a subscriber to this channel now, and if I could give you 1M likes, I would on this one dude. Now, for the drop-tuned comparisons I thought the Uber sounded better without OD and took the Precision Drive a little better, but the Nightmare took the W with the Direwolf and BY FAR my favorite tone of all the comparisons was the Nightmare with the Night Terror. For the D# tuning the Uber pretty much stole the show with the exception of the Night Terror through the Nightmare. That combination of the Nightmare and the Night Terror is just RAW deathcore rhythm tone greatness 🤘🤘

Dude, your ‘demonstrations/comparisons are the gold leader in the ripping amps section. Sounds like Reinhold owe’s you an amp. You’ve shown that the New Uber is not for wimps yet is quite versatile in punishing high gain(s). The Uber is the cat in the bird seat here💯.

Nice lol. There’s a 6l6 around me for a decent price and am thinking bout pulling the trigger on it but there’s like no videos with that version. I’ve never played a kt loaded amp and usually prefer 6l6s over el34s so I’m curious as to which version will be better for me. Great vid btw!

I agree with the exception of the Night Terror through the Nightmare for a rhythm tone. I owned an Uberschall back around 2010 with a KT88 mod, and briefly owned a Twin-Jet which just didn't compare to the Uber. I've yet to own or play an amp that compared, and then Reinhold graces us with the Uber Ultra. Now I have no choice but to start a fight with the ol' lady and buy the Ultra. I don't care if I don't get any for a few months... I'll be preoccupied with my new amp anyways lolol.

To me the Bogner sounds better without a boost, and the Driftwood sounds closer to the Bogner (un-boosted) with a boost. Bogner for the win this round.

Was between these 2- hard choice because both are super brutal. Got the Driftwood purple nightmare signature on the way! Apparently it is even more mid focused with another 3 way bright switch. The features and build quality ultimately won.

I've watched this video 20x minimum and damn I love that Night Terror pedal! So, now I've listened to this entire video so many times I have come to the conclusion the Uber Ultra is a BAD MF'r but it's more so a rhythm guitar and doesn't take pedals as well (just my opinion). The Nightmare/Night Terror combination just sounds less scooped/fuller and maybe it's just KZbin audio filtering or something but I gotta know... it sounds like the Nightmare has more low-end and bit more pronounced mid-range than the Uber... am I hearing this correctly?

Driftwood sounds both looser and dryer. Is that how it felt in person? The Uber Ultra seems tighter and more saturated, which is great, because the old Ubers were a little on the tubby side.

yeah the uberultra is very tight and you can kind of control the saturation with the metamorph knob , only down side is it can be a little weird with boosts. the driftwood is more so made to be boosted so its a little less saturated and loose

I don't think you've done a granophyre vs uber ultra yet right? So far the grano has won in all of them for my taste so I'd be very curious about how that and the uber would fair against each other ^^

Well..... Uber it is for me..... The Nightmare would be a nice amp to have, but I cant justify the price tag for what is seemingly a one trick pony when the Uber is multi channel and kills the Nightmare at the thing it is supposed to be great at.
