What's great about this video is not just the sheer love and hard work that went into it, the great use of green screen, the humor and the clever lyrics, it's just how well they show they know the material. I mean, including the references to Palpatine cloning himself? Then there's the hilarity of Boba Fett speaking from inside the Sarlacc (as com traffic under and echoing the singer), the female Fett and Vader, "Mama Shmi-a" (I fell over laughing), the use of Yoda speech for the ending, telling Leia to choke Jabba, everyone fighting with Palpatine over Vader, rocking out to hyperspace, the guitar solos (especially Palpatine--that was just inspired!). It's wonderful on so many levels.

I don't get why there's any copyright issue over this whatsoever. Parody is explicity permitted under fair use. There's a crapload of actual copyright infringement on KZbin that they don't even touch ... why this? Anyway, ad-free on KZbin is as easy as blocking the various doubleclick domains (aka Google Ad Services) in your HOSTS file (winhelp2002.mvps.org/hosts.htm for details on how that's done). UAT: It's just a computer-generated algorithm doing initial detection notifications & blocks, with very little likelihood of a real human interacting with it, so it's not "copyright police" in that sense. Make an appeal! To do so, simply go into your Video Manager and respond to the Copyright Infringement notification and explain your rationale. I've done that 8 times before and successfully defended all of them! I actively oppose illegal use of copyrighted material (and if you had simply done a cosplay video using Queen's song as is, or a parody song with Star Wars footage, that would be), but in this case yours is a clear parody of both the Star Wars characters AND of Queen's music, and the Supreme Court has consistently ruled in favor or such instances being creative works in themselves subject to their own protection and NOT being a copyright violation.

I can appeal, but if they rule against us a second time then KZbin can pull the video and we get a copyright strike against our account.
