World of Warships update 1.02.11.294 On rare occasions it was noted that some carriers were being sunk by fire, that has been fixed. Now if anyone even looks cross eyed at a carrier, the automatic repair party activates with a 22 minute duration.

Just happy that when I end up in a game featured on a Jingles replay, I didn't suck. I've always dreaded that if I saw myself here, I'd be embarrassed by my play and have to change my in-game name! I was in the USS Massachusetts. I almost got zapped at 8:38, but didn't "fall for that old gag." I did get smoked at 10:30. At least I took two with me!.

you run into those chat command spammers every once in awhile. the only thing I can think is that they're mentally-challenged/disabled (not joking), children (literally) or they're just aholes. It's one of those 3.

There is no need to revoke chat privileges from a chat spammer. That's what the "mute a player" menu option is for. Works a treat and clears your chat of their spam Have used it many times on players who appeared to have finally discovered the chat system and have to endlessly try it out all through the battle.

Akshually, Jingles, the Yorktown (and Essex) rocket and dive bomb squadrons get two charges (each) of a smoke curtain. Useful for providing concealment for yourself or a teammate.

Although I must admit its pretty hard to GET AA defense expert less you are purposefully going after the enemy Carrier or its planes (IE getting in the way). The only Award Rarer then that these days (assuming you can even get it, which i doupt) is Killing a ship by flooding it to death. Now, if this is your reaction to them having smoke screens, Wait until WG gives them MINEFEILDS. You know they will, surely they will at some point Right? The CV Rework did ALOT of things, most of it just made the situation worse. Carriers are Boring to play and Fighting a CV is also Boring, hell fighter squadrons are useless.

CVs and this stupid half CV things are what will kill this game It is simply not fun playing against a ship that you can ignore half of the damage types, while having automatic system to fight back without the players input. And as an added bonus "FU" they took away the possibility for any ship to make them pay for mistakes. Old CVs at least required some strategic planning and had some way to be punished.

AP bounces, HE can't set fires, you can't citadel them, the massive auto DC soft blocks subs, they can spot half the map in seconds, and the only bloody counter is to git gud and just dodge. And even that doesn't work. Used to play DDs, shima mostly. BB drivers go so salty when they ate a wall of fish and went from 100% to 0 in all of 3 seconds. But they had to be making mistakes for a solid 30 seconds minimum and if I missed, close to 2 minute reload to try again. CV drops fighters over you and even if the rest of the team ignores you, and they never do, its attacks ever 20 seconds you can't do a thing about.

@@nickierv13 I main BB's and I hate CV's since Rework. They are always buffed. As for DD's, they are dangerous to BB's, if you don't have Hydro or Radar. 6km detection range is hard to fight against. You usually have to make big mistake to get caught by full spread of torpedoes. The best counter is that if DD is ever spotted you fire at it (which with 30 second reload is brutal and aiming at DD is difficult as heck, because it maneuvers) and having good secondaries. Which given that I mostly play Japanese BB's - secondaries won't save me from DD's. And of course CV's dropping bombs and taking away 1/3rd to 1/2 of my health is supper annoying. You can't shoot down the planes that are attacking - not meaningfully anyway.

Fiiiiiiiiiiiiinally a match with carriers in. Floating turret mode was getting rather tiresome to look at.
