I have always loved the 13-57. It is one of the most powerful late-game finishers, ideally suited for bayonetting the wounded. It is also fast, and great for bursting down low-health tanks any other time as well. I have both versions of it. The original WG-logo one and the later-released one that was for sale in the shop any time. My biggest problem with one of them is that it has the most horrendous match making of any tank I own. I would consistently 2-3k damage in it, and still have a win rate of 38% when I used it. Because whenever I took the non-logo version, I would end up on a team full of window-licking potatoes. The logo version didn't have that problem, and my win rate with that was normally in the high 50s. Great little tank.

I LOVE this Tank as I call it the ASSASSIN Tank. Small and scout with 8 shots to death. End of rounds an be so much fun when scouting and heavies only left.

This is the correct answer. The dude in battle calling him Nazar saw the anonymous name. Weirdly enough the replays website does also show the anonymous name, while the battle results in game show the real names. It is what it is.

In fairness to the 57mm: when conceived, it was much easier to make an autoloader for the 57mm ammunition (smaller shells means less powerful machinery necessary) and their wartime experience with German guns showed that long barrels could make smaller calibers practical at likely combat ranges. So far as I can tell, the 57mm was dropped mostly for two reasons: lack of shell mass limited firepower and the long barrel interfered with transport. A 57mm had amazing penetration at shorter ranges, but lacked mass to carry through at range, and the high explosive was deemed inadequate for soft-target engagement, much the same arguments of the US Army back in WW2 against using the 6-pounder (also a 57mm) in tanks and tank destroyers.

Great game. AMX 13 57 is more of a sneaky drive by tank however. You pop up close range, unload a mag and get the hell out of dodge. That's how I got my 3933 dmg game with it, against tier VIII. Also 8 kills, no Kolobanovs though. That also determines the class medal Jingles. In this case he was top tier.

Credits to the rest of his team who, despite being behind in body count, put up a hell of a fight to turn practically all of the enemy tanks to near-wrecks. Remember that at the start of the 1-vs-5, he had 715 hitpoints, while the enemy team (including 2 full health arties) had just 1018. If you showed me a snapshot of that instant and asked me to bet on the outcome, my money would be on the AMX.

Hail mighty overlord, I thought of a few more games that play well with a controller. (Sorry that they are a bit weeb.) Both are open world action games. Ghost of Tsushima. Plays during the first Mongol invasion of Japan on the island of Tsushima situated about halfway between Korea and Japan. (They haven't decided yet who it belongs to after WWII...) The game is historically inspired and feel very fitting but isn't actually historical but more inspired by movies instead. Names of characters and events are made up, as is the dichotomy between "honourable samurai" and "despicable ninja". But that's fine. The game even has a "movie filter" so you can turn it to stylised black-and-white. While it's called the Mongol invasian, many of the soldiers and pretty much all the sailors from the northern fleet were Korean so morale was questionable. The other southern fleet was made up of many Chinese but delayed by weather. Although the two Mongol invasions failed, they caused (or were at least a big contributing factor in) the downfall of the Kamakura Bakufu (shougunate). Gameplaywise you should feel right at home after Horizon and Ubisoft games. Yakuza series. Probably best to start with Yakuza 0. As the name suggests, you play as a Yakuza. Although these are open world games, they follow a bit of a different approach than many others. The maps are comparably small, about a Japanese city block but packed full to the brim with sidequests and minigames. The games are kinda (in)famous for them. If it's a Japanese pastime, chances are at least one of those games has it as a minigame. Now to watching tanks.

The AMX 57 used to have awesome gun sound in Gnomefather's / Zorgane's Gun Sounds mod, it was so great listening how the sounds of mag dump echoed across the battlefield. Maybe couple years ago they changed it and it's a whole lot less impressive now, I'd say these days Felice takes the cake of nice sounds across a distance. The name obscuring thing is called Anonymizer and it's a solution to a problem that doesn't really exist outside of stream sniping. People don't use XVM that much anymore and vast majority don't care about being anon. The only people that use it are botting / just really shit or really good, so the grey anon names stick out like a sore thumb from the teamlist. Our hero here is a rare case of being rather mid with their stats and still being anon (1350 Wn8, 51% Wr), hard to say why bother hiding them.
