Would you be willing to share how you braid the back and sew the back of your hair? I tried to do my braiding the way you did but I felt like the back became bulky on one side more than the other based on how I tried to sew it down.

I just purchased these. Will the individual locs be long enough or large enough in quantity to cover mid-back length hair? I'm afraid I would get glue on my real hair. Perhaps one could extend the length by using both cut locs instead of one?

Beijaflor hey - i bought the mermaid locs before and i did find they got tangled and matted REALLY easily. a lot more were put in during my installation than needed, though, and it’s not advised that you install them at the back - which was also done for me, lol. however, i feel like over time regardless they’re gonna get tangled and matted somehow, someway, but it’s really easy to take them out and replace them w/ a new one if u don’t wrap them, or to replace with a new loc

Hey! We provide a full aftercare guide on how to prevent them from getting tangled or matted. The key is to not install too many at once, keep them at the top and towards the front and to use water and conditioner to keep them sleek!

Ive purchased these twice. Though I LOVE them, it bothers me that 1) an APPROXIMATE amount of the mermaid hair is given in the "In This Kit" description on the website . It says "approx 15-20" and Ive received 14/15 in my purchased packs. For the price, it should definitely be 20 or more like it used to be stated in her videos! To achieve the look in this video and other mermaid videos they post, you DEFINITELY need more mermaid hair than is provided. And then they dont sell individual packs of mermaid hair. For the price of $177, it should include a good 35 pieces of mermaid for the 120 piece of loc provided. Please get it together Lulu!

We also don't advise putting in all of the Mermaid hair at one time to avoid tangling, as this was the feedback we got from our customers. I just purchased this product and let me tell you do not buy it online. You can go to your local beauty supply store and get the same quality it may be better for a fraction of the price. I paid online $167 for one pack of here and I could’ve purchased it in my local beauty supply store for nine dollars a pack and only needing four packs. So don’t waste your money on this product. I don’t give a damn if it is black owned.
