I've only had boiled peanuts one time, when my mom and I visited my sister in Alabama in 2002. They were so good! I may try this. Thanks for sharing!

Thank you so much for your whole entire recipe box of 1k+ index cards! I've made this so many times and is always a hit at parties! I see people people sucking the flavors out if the shell! That's when you know it so good!

Oh Mahalo Nui Loa Pickle Lady for this recipe. As a young keiki I used to buy this for 25cents a bag of fresh boiled peanuts from an old Chinese man at the old Honolulu stadium many many moons ago on Makiki or Moilili area. Many people don't remember the original stadium. Again Mahalo for the recipe. Aloha from Kansas

Besides you being so cute, I thought your video was amazing, clear, bright, uncluttered, simple to understand. One suggestion is to display the ingredients on the screen. If you do not have all the ingredients, will salt and ginger work as well Thank you
@HawaiisPickleLady2 жыл бұрын
Thanks, I like more taste so I add many ingredients. Otherwise, your suggestion would be fine.

What would the ingredients be if I wanted to do a larger batch at one time say 8-lbs do I just triple the ingredients or is there another Break break down thank you
@HawaiisPickleLady2 жыл бұрын
Yes, just triple the recipe. Maybe less on the salt as sometimes it's too over powering. Taste after awhile.

Just found you ... subscibed, but most of your videos don't work for me. I am plant based, but do eat fish ... no meat / poultry. Also don't like fried. Shall follow you and see if you do enough plant based / fish recipes for me.
@HawaiisPickleLady3 жыл бұрын
Thank you so much. There are a few plant based recipes and seafood, just keep on searching.

Unfortunately her website is terrible I have given up trying to find recipes. There is no search function and your scrolling through hopefully the correct category. I know she probably didn't set up the site but it is the worst recipe site I know of I don't bother with it anymore. Lots of room for improvement there.

Gary Boyd - there is a down arrow on the right hand side of her description title hit that- then hit her website an after her website comes up there are 3 bars on top left- hit that n she said to look under miscellaneous n there it is - I could find it using my phone ! Don’t give up this lady is awesome!!!

You are the only person who complained about the website. A lot of work was put into making it work. Everyone who searches for the recipe finds it. Please follow Shirley's directions. She did a terrific job. Please try again.
