If you're in a top alliance that gets high Milestone rewards & rank high everywhere, them rank high in personal events/milestones there's no reason to spend... No reason for him to lie.. My biggest fear with level 105 is that time heist will update and go up to 105 because it has a 4 day counter which might be that the next time heist will come out

Why not continue to hoard until there's a leaderboard event.

You start losing free energy instead of putting it in your commander level progress. When you are at max level (as you are now), it isn't a thing to consider when you hoard. You also will start drifting down power-wise as other will upgrade their toons while you just wait.

@superdrapforever i guess it comes down to ranking higher in the next leaderboard, or delaying a level increase by a little bit, although if there's XP in the milestones and the leaderboard of the next campaign leaderboard event, the free energy lost may not matter

@BigSpartan112 If the levels are the same the current leaderboard, even massive hoarding will unlikely let you get more than 2-3k xp.
