I did that race several times when it first started in '87-'92. So cool to see it grow to where it is today. This was a great video that takes me back to the day. Really exciting. That dude taking the inside line on Williams was a nice attempt, all he could do, really, but those Williams brothers got it done. Dominant.

Justin/Corey whoever is lookingat this, or even any of yiou guys underneath! Love your vids, can i ask a question from a beginner. I've just started a few months ago, I'm starting to really improve quickly, I'm able to hang on in there with my local cycling club now and they have a couple of regional and national champs. My only problem is, i don't have a power meter. I'm still using an ultra light ALU T4 frame on my Trek Culebro 4.0 (the older one wich was 1400 dollars new), i replaced all the sora gear on it for Dura ace, Ultegra and i have 105 shifters. Anyway, What i really need now is a power meter. My only problem is, I'm out of work on a mental disability medical. SO im bringing in VERY little money, So i can't buy the 400+ dollar power meters. But i want something that is going to give me somewhat decent accurate readings. Can anyone give me a hand in going through my options? Thank you so much for taking the time to read this

No, the NYC Parks Department only allows racing early in the morning. All races need to be done and gone by 8am.
