I remember a game i played a year ago, the zeus player build only heroes and managed to get mythic in a short period of time. He then build 6 heliopolis and a bunch of myrmidons and me as ra who until then only build archers was beaten within a matter of seconds

16:20 The mummy's special attack didn't kill that Colossus that was eating the gold or is it just me? The minion emerged from the ground but the Colossus didn't die. His life dropped down from half to almost 0 but he didn't die lmao. Is that a bug, an exploit??

Yep, Colossus regens faster than the game can register he is on 0 HP.

I tried a 1 TC strat like this once as Zeus vs Ra on low hunt. Ra made it to mythic first though - through Horus. After the heavy winds subsided, the sands brought forth a spearmen infestation throughout my TCless, Heroic empire. Yeah, that game didn't go so well for me lmao

im not a pro so i gotta ask, why not make some peltast to counter the charriots countering your myrmidons?

Cause the chariots aren't a threat in that fight. The Axemen are the real threat. The will wall the myrmidon, crit them, and map control while the chariots finish them off so they (Axemen) take minimal dmg. This leaves the enemy siege weapons completely unchallenged. Unless he micros his chariots the myrmidons will melt those chariots with 3x dmg. The other guy was microing his Roc/Son of Osiris. Toxotes will clean Axemen enough to let myrmidons trade and keep on the push without the need to reform the line. Also Toxotes can deal normal damage to chariots whereas Peltast would only specialize on clearing the least threat unit on the field and do bad dmg to the real threat on the field.
