I love the little details that show how hypocritical Bojack’s father is throughout the show. He says Bojack was wrong for choosing “the easy way” by picking the Canal, but then finishes an extremely easy ship in a bottle. You see he just pulls once and the masts all stand up at once pre-assembled.

I love how this episode shows the stupidity of modern news channels, and how stupid shit is seen as more important than actual News. And how quickly the news cycle moves on to the next stupid thing. Bojack and the muffins was THE news for a few days, and was replaced by " Dog gets bucket stuck on head"

The first few episodes are setting up the Bojack world and, in hindsight, aren’t anywhere near as good as later episodes. If “don’t judge a book by its cover “ was applied to a TV show, it would be this one
