Interesting knife, German made Boker knives are generally out of my price range if I am going to spend that much it will be to extend my SAK collection. I really like the O1 steel though and the Henny Hanes store sounds like a place I would like to visit if I were to come across the pond.

Hi SS: It’s a very beautiful knife. For me, unfortunately, the word “jute” has bad connotations. 😊 I restore paintings for a living and back in the day (1600s thru the 1800s), jute was often used instead of canvas as a surface to paint on. It does not hold up at all well over the years and I’ve had miserable experiences dealing with the stuff. Be that as it is……it’s still a great looking blade. 😅😅

They certainly make a sharp looking knife. I don't mind paying for quality, but it is so hit or miss. In the US that knife is going for $154.95 usd. I think the continued high inflation in Europe is hurting Boker. You got that at less than half what it cost here. I know you're a happy guy 😊

I've watched this twice now, trying to come up with reasons not to buy this 😂. I was going to buy it at knives and tools a while ago it was like 70ish. So for that price, it would be rude not to 😂.
