I was planning on posting this on my birthday as a thank you to everyone but it's okay lets pretend its still my birthday today HEHE-
It’s been a good while since my last cover and since then, we managed to get 100k on youtube AND twitter?! It still feels really surreal and I only have you all to thank for supporting me this far! I love you all and I hope we can continue to support each other to the fullest going forward (灬♥ω♥灬)
On another note, thank you so much Jay for working with me! I’ve always wanted to work with you and honestly you’re so talented, this whole project has been so much fun and I can’t wait to work with you more in the future!! OtsuMika! No worries, the whole month of April is your birthday, Mik. This is one of my favorite songs. "The mouth of Truth" I always love the lyrics and the meaning behind them. I love hearing it when you sing like this. It's like a combination of "ano ko no secret" and "call boy" (not the song, of course). It's beautiful. It's a really stark contrast compared to Ado's version With Ado, she starts off high and growls during the middle part. It expresses an anger that can't be contained and burns everything around them even the one who's causing it. Also, the way she says I hate you is fiery which no doubt will incinerate the target and targeter. In Mika's, it's more cold than anything. She uses lower tones which comes across as more icy than anything. So her hate it a cold kind. Which isn't as destructive but causes damage nonetheless.

I think this is my first time listening to one of your covers. I regret not listening sooner and will listen to more. That said, I will also take my time with each cover and let myself get lost in them or so. Seriously, I am at a loss for words. Idk what to really say here aside from wow, just wow. Felt like I was in a fever dream or something. Can't quite describe the experience but I think it being akin to a fever dream is apt still, in a good way. I think this may be one of the most unique and amazing covers of the song that I've heard yet. Thus far, everyone has done a splendid job and has their own charms, twists, and such. But yes, I do think this is one of the most unique and amazing one among them all, truly. The way it was sung, presented, produced and all. An experience for sure.
