TawnyGirl- In the Caribbean most of the British islands are predominantly populated with Africans coz the English colonizers settled mostly on the north part of the Continent. Only a few of them settled in the Caribbean that`s why they have less white and mixed people than the French Islands or the Spanish islands like Puerto-Rico, Cuba or Santo Domingo. Trinidad and Tobago are also full of mixed people coz these islands were Spanish before the British took over! We got islands in the French West Indies archipelago where the population is white coz the French Colonizers did not bring Africans on them! We also have a large community of East-Indians (12-13%) and lots of mixed East-Indians/Blacks that look like Ethiopians. Im tired of the British islands trying to force their African origins to all of the Caribbean!
