You can get all of China before WW2 usually starts in single player by using CAS and good infantry to push, but I've seen in mp that this gets delayed to avoid spiking WT too much.

For vanilla: build 3 collabs, on the frontline build up planning bonus and rush to the war, build divisions, send marines to get the ports on the right and then rush to the town at the river. Later you keep pushing deeper to take the second supply hub by the river, then stop. Then you invade around shanghai and take nanjing, then link up the armies. Use garrisons with support arti to hold and line arti units to push. Link up the army and control the whole coast, keep doing invasions. By the time youre at wuhan you should be good.

On the group I play paradox games we had rules for Vicky 2, where if you were occupied by rebels and had a government change during a war you had to unconditionally surrender your wars, or if you surrender for an offer then the war immediately stops but you could take back your surrender if the other player tries to get more, just to stop game ruining and death waring. Also I don't understand why the "coalitions" to golden, were they just because he was golden or because he was strong? He didn't seem strong from what I watched on the eu4 game or this game

golden never did diplomacy with anyone except phillip's iran (and only because he's from his friend group irl), while being super aggressive and expanding in all players directions except iran, while willin to deathwar over it + schafer is a noob in eu4 so everyone else tried to safeguard him.
