One of my favorite licensed video games has to be Over the Hedge. It's actually interesting because the story takes place after the movie- they all do (save for the GBA version). The Verminator and Gladys are back and end up trashing your stuff, so it's up to you to get it all back, and stop them. The combat is also kind of fun. There's something about just mindlessly mashing the attack button and plowing through hordes of enemies that makes my brain go brrr. The Bumper Carts mini game is a blast with a friend, too. So, if you're one of the many people who want an Over the Hedge sequel, the games may just have what you're looking for.

Actually, there are even MORE Cool Spot video games out there. One is called "Spot: The Video Game" which was released for the NES, Game Boy, and a few other consoles and it's basically the table top game Othello just with a 7Up coat of paint. There's also "Spot: The Cool Adventure" which was released on the Game Boy which is another platformer that is apparently similar to McKids. It's wild that there are people out there who probably have a favorite game franchise with less entries in it than Cool Spot. Also, I have the collector's edition of Kill la Kill IF and still haven't played it.

Important to note about One Piece: Grand Adventure (which I own and can confirm is fun) is that it includes content Grand Battle didn't/couldn't include due to the English version of OP being far behind Japan at the time, hence why Adventure is English only. Also while Battle, Adventure and Pirate's Carnival use the 4Kids VAs (which aren't as bad as many like to make it out to be) Unlimited Adventure on the Wii is the first (and at the time of this writing only) game to use the Funimation VAs. Also fun fact, the Grand Adventure box art is reused from the JP only game Fighting for One Piece (released a year earlier in 05).

I also remember the Eureka Seven PS2 games, though maybe not as fondly, because on the one hand they were canon to the show's continuity and had some neat ideas but on the other hand there were a lot of segments that were Tony Hawk But Awful. You win some, you lose some, I guess.

Yeah, I really don't have much to add here because it's even worse than me forgetting the game- I straight up didn't know it existed. That being said- the game I throw into the ring here is also a GBC game- Blade II! You move Blade around in NYC, between different buildings, and you beat up vampires in it. Kinda slow side-scrolling licensed beat-em-up game with Blades swords, weapons, guns and bare hands... but it's pretty decent all in all, on par with that Spawn game. Also, Austin explaining Snoopy felt so WEIRD to me, like... I just sat there going "But it's Snoopy... everyone instinctively understands Snoopy, don't they?". A real "No, it is the children who are wrong" moment for yours truly.

You know what licensed game I haven't forgotten about? The Spiderwick Chronicles for the DS. Really underrated.

The Royal Guardsman had at least TWO songs dedicated to Snoopy. I can understand not wanting to mention the inferior Snoopy's Christmas though.

fellow 1990-born here; yea same here with the One Piece part... I started to watch it for like the first 20-40 episodes like 16-17 years ago but haven't progressed since then

I am glad that there are more people out there that like the Speed Racer movie.

I skipped the chicken run part as the decapitation joke gave me nightmares for months, I didn't even dare to eat chicken during that time 😅
