My AK is wire free friendly. It is the type that can be brough from Black Ops and has the black-wood or silver-wood option. I have the later. The brand has a panther or the like on the box. I have no idea of the mod potential apart from a the 11v battery. It has a two piece barral which Im only guessing can be upgraded to a one piece alloy. But I do like it as the wood as a softer touch. In the meantime Im yet to skirmish as my friends network are only having theirs arrive, waiting delivery or are yet to order.

The gen8 mags don't fit the ACR they insert the mag well but won't seat properly, that's a bummer. My be you could get the drimil out and make a video on how to get them to fit. Is the gear box made of nylon? ACR is definitely my next blaster !

I am using Gen8 mags in the video. however... the ACR I was given has a new mag release installed to cope with Gen8 mags. I can give you contacts to get it.

I took mine apart and put it bqck together now full auto is really slow for some reason and semi auto is alot more responsive

xwe m4 has factory hopup which has to be purchased separately

if it needs to be purchased separately that's not "factory", "factory" means in the box or on the blaster when you buy it.

Sorry I mean if the original did not come with the hopup you have to purchase it separately. There is another version that comes with the hopup. Most dealers that import the blasters usually just take the standard basic package I guess. item.taobao.com/item.htm?id=571295584242&ns=1&abbucket=10#detail This link has the picture of the hopup that looks exactly like the original cap, but is adjustable.

when you test fired yours did it have a .2 or .5 second delay to fire? I've got one here for review and I noticed while playing it had a slight delay from trigger pull to motor turning

This one has an 11v in it so the delay isnt as noticable apparently. again I never saw it stock. it had 11v and 1.3 spring when I was given it so I don't know what its like stock.

The guys from Blasters Mania (Malaysian) had trouble with the fire modes as well, turns out it was the dodgy battery connection from the stock to the receiver.

This also concerns me. Plus there are so many tension\pressure contacts that I wonder if corrosion or just weak pressure will lead to multiple failures. I think this will be a troublesome blaster after a certain amount of use.

@@johnwhear9600 Go onto the Black Ops Blasters website, there is an AK-47 that you can select in the drop down black/wood or silver/wood. Mine is the later. It looks like the AK-12 is the same manufacturer and shares the same magazine. I sent some pics of my magazine to Black Ops to try and match the mag. Black Ops seem pretty helpful. If the mags are interchanged Ill probably buy the 12. I like Russian stuff. Cheers from central Oz. ☺

i'd just add a tiny drop of super glue to it. the glue will break next time you pin punch it.

i got this blaster and i think i fried the fet board so im going to see if i can hard wire the gearbox. and run wires. Not a fan of fet boards after i fried my m4ss using 11.1v, and have seen others that have fet board issues. Best to run it with out one.

@@Nick-rz9ep awesome vid mate but wished you had opened up the internal receiver. based on the above, will the stock receiver handle a 11v battery without need to upgrade gears/plungers? is it all crap plastic internally like a stock G8? Also, i noticed you can buy barrels up to 40cm 3 questions- how long is ideal without needing to cut the front flash hider does a jmgen8 barrel still work for this as ebay usually says scar or jmgen 8 barrel? lastly, can you easily re-use the existing T-piece from the nylon barrel to the new barrel? John Pradella umm I’m not the creator of the video however you do not need to upgrade anything to use 11v batteries you can easily reuse same t pice as long as the barrel is not to big you can not use a different t piece from jiming as it won’t fit I tired as for their question some one else will be able to answer
