Yes they were identical twins that didn't know each other (not sure of the details - didn't watch then) Caroline died and then something happened that the actress was happy to come back to the show so they created her twin Karen that no one had known about up until then. When you watch the early early shows Bill Snr would say his only child Caroline, they had to come up with some interesting backstories to explain first Karen and then $Bill

Sorry, but I just find Brooke's behavior totally inappropriate. It's Eric and Stephanie Forrester's house and she acts like she owns it.
